Santa Cruz surfer Zoltan Torkos has been practicing kickflip/darkslides for years.

After he was awarded $10,000 by Volcom in 2011 for completing the trick, the surfer apparel manufacturer upped the prize money to $20,000 and changed the rules to say the flip had to occur above the lip of the wave.

On Tuesday, Torkos posted a video on YouTube proving he completed the feat and awaits to hear back from Volcom.
