Historical Capitola Village is a destination point for Locals and World travelers alike. It provides ample opportunity for outdoor recreation. The beach front of Capitola village rests on the central California Coast in the midst of the Monterey Bay National Marine sanctuary.

It provides access to many outdoor activities including Surfing, Sailing, Ocean Fishing, Scuba diving, Hiking thru ancient Redwood Forest, Mountain Biking, Golfing, Train rides on restored steam engines, beach side amusement park, numerous California State Parks and in the summer one of the most scenic and well groomed beaches on the California coast

The Capitola village area also has many fine restaurants to dine in no matter what your taste or price range, You can choose from Seafood cuisine right on the beach or pier to fine dining along the riverside, complete with cable car ambience. The spectacular Monterey Bay Aquarium is scant 40 minutes away with a scenic drive along the California Coast.

The Village boasts many small shops, boutiques and wine tasting to add to your adventure. There are several local wineries just minutes away in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains.
